Schel (and all),
One of my favorite recordings with Johnny Neel is "Tiny Town" by Tiny Town, which was an offshoot of the Subdudes, but with a real
drummer. It's another one-album-wonder like Arc Angels, and every bit as good IMO. Neel is not officially in the band, but his
Hammond playing is just huge and really makes the album shine. You can usually find "Tiny Town" on eBay for dirt cheap and it's a
must-have for any Neel fan. I've never seen him live, but I'm keeping an eye open for him coming around here.
