Yes the XB-2 does have more expression with the EXP100A hence the reason for for my inquiry for compatibility with the XK-3. I'm using a M/S pro 3 with the stomp pedal for control of the Motion Sound. If the only difference is the added switches on the sides I should be OK till I upgrade the Lesley sim hopefully to a 122.

If I'm not mistaken an expression pedal like that on a B3 is not like a
volume pedal in that the expression pedal maintains punch when lowering the volume.
if the XK3 has an expression pedal available, that should be the one to go
with as it probably simulates the Hammond expression moreso than a regular
volume pedal. There is extra circuitry involved not just a pot.
