Subject:Re: Why did Hammond get the virtual B3 right?

I've compared my XK3 to both of my chops (a mid-60s B3, and a '64 A100), and it is very very close. Yes, there is still a little bit more girth to the chops, but it is so closely mimic'ed that I am actually happy to leave my beasts at home.

I have my B-3 upstairs from my Xk-3. The Xk-3 provides
a satisfaction that rivals that of playing my B-3 and
blows away any other clone I have used. I am no expert
in modeling nor sampling...I just know what I hear
when I play...and the Xk-3 sounds right.
