Subject:Clone poll


My favorite clone is a Korg CX3(haven't auditioned any of the
lasted clones)
In a "live situation" with my CX3 I do not use any pre or post
effects i.e. Speakeasy, real Leslie etc with my CX3.
I do own and play daily a mint 1968 B3/122 RV in my living room.
I've owned Hammonds, started with a L100/760 thirty five years ago
and with a B3/122 for the past twenty five played semi and
professionally.
Big Question, if I hear a bad clone in a recording am I able to
detect it as a clone...YES (sometimes as a sore thumb)
I'm very surprised at the amount of major recording artists using
inaccurate sounding clones, I think they don't know or hear the
difference. Usually in the C/V (1) or percussion (2) / keyclick (3).
