Subject:OK lets decide for ourselves which is the best organ on the market.

Hi fellow list members

I was reading the list recently...and all the talk about this Keyboard mag's Cloneshoot out or "blowout"

I think nothing was conclusive from this article..on which is the best organ in a single manual, double manual or expander solution on the market.

Now it strikes me that we all must be listening for different things...since we all seem to like different things.

I think the main reason we buy a organ simulator...is to clone the Hammond B3 sound.

Other organs may be required from these keyboards...but let's concentrate on the Hammond B3 sound.

I think if we could all put forward the following information....it may be clearer for all concerned what we base our decision on.

Let's keep it to the point...so at some point in the near future...we can compile a list with what is the most popular Hammond simulator at this point in time.

Let's not give our reasons why...just answer the questions.

Can we all on this list do the following...Write a simple reply to this thread with the following information:

1. My favourite Hammond simulator is the _________________________
2. I use a Leslie with this clone...it is a Leslie model________________
3. I do not use a Leslie with this clone...and rely on the internal rotary simulator Yes/No
4. I use a valve(tube) preamp.
5. I own a B3 or console organ and a Leslie at present. Yes/No
6. I have owned a B3 or console organ and Leslie in the past Yes/No.
7. I have never owned a B3 or console organ or a Leslie. Yes /No.
8. I own a Hammond...but it is a model_________________
9. I own a Leslie, it is a Leslie_________________
10 I have never owned a Hammond or Leslie at any time in the past Yes /No

If we give truthful answers to these questions....it may help us determine what we base our conclusions on.
