Well if the XK-3 is better and of course the new B3 you could say since the vintage B3 is his main axe that this was merely evolution. And also when he was endorsing the VK-7 it was possibly the best clone.

Before that it was Ensoniq which I believe used slightly different synthesis methods, was American made (which their reps would always remind you of) but reputedly the serviceman would have the instrument more of the time than the owner. Joey made their stuff sound very good!
