So you don't mind the (IMHO) very shallow key trigger of the XK-3?
Someone else described the action as "firm" -- where I understand
"action" to be the force needed to press down a key completely... but
since it's sufficient to press down keys just a tiny little bit to
trigger a note, what is the relevance of this "firm action" after all?

I certainly love light *action* for an organ, but the *trigger* just
feels a little too shallow (in my opinion). In spite of a
sort-of-contrary email I got from from HS and posted here a while ago,
I've not given up hopes that they'll offer a software upgrade sometime
that would allow one to adjust the key depth -- the MIDI part of the
XK-3 is velocity-sensitive, so the hardware should be there for it, I
would think...

I have to admit though that I've started to get used to the shallow
trigger...
