Another option on the CX-3 update is to do what I did and have an
authorized Korg repair center do it. Local shop charged me $53., and
I didn't have to worry about an error costing me big money. Be
advised though that version 2 update lessens the vibrato effect
somewhat. Some people choose not to update for this reason; doesn't
bother me. If at all possible, try out a version 2 before updating to
make sure you can live with the reduced vibrato. Everything else in
update is
excellent.
