Subject:MTI Rotophaser info
Hi group,
I have the opportunity to purchase something called a Rotophaser this
week. It was made in Italy by a company called MTI. Apparently it
consists of an upper treble rotor similar to a Leslie as well as a
lower 'chorus' rotor.
Now the questions:
1) As was described to me, all that needs to be done with it is to
wire the upper and lower cabinets. (This sounds strangly similar to
the Leslie 16 speaker that came with the footswitch and unique
cable). Does anyone here have any info on this speaker or schematics
for wiring it all together.
2) I don't believe that the unit comes with the footswitch or cable.
Is this going to be a problem either finding one or making my own?
3) Has anyone here heard or played this thing? The owner is asking
$225 for both units. Is this something to invest in or is it too much
trouble to deal with for the money.
Thanks for any and all info you can provide on this unit. You can
either contact me here or off list. Thanks agian for taking the time
to read this.
