Subject:Re: Speakeasy Preamps
Thanks to all who are replying.
I have logged on to the site a few times, but felt I didn't quite get straight in my mind what it is and does or can do.
And, I have talked to Steve at length.
And I placed an order!
I'm probably just anxiously waiting for it to arrive so I can see if that was the right decision, and hoping to find some hints as to what knobs to turn to really check it out in a rig that includes a VK 7 Not through Leslies, Promega 3 piano, EX5 largely for horns, guitars, leads and excellent Yamaha technology electric pianos, and a K2600RS. Good speakers including a KP 100.
I have the stereo version coming. As I usually send everything through a Mackie 1402 with some units stereo I am in hopes of making use of the Speakeasy with hopefully slight adjustments, reaching to the rack at my left. However, with all going through the mixer, how would I be able to make use of each side of the Speakeasy separately and how would I be able to not have it be on all audio?
I suppose some of these things will be more apparent to me when the thing shows up here next week.
Hope I'll end up being one of the braggers!
Thanks guys,
Harold
