Subject:Multiple Controllers - Cant see the Screens or Get to Controls

Hey Folks

Just some thoughts and gripes about keyboards and their displays
and controls. Dont you just hate it when you have 2 or 3 controllers
stacked on your stand and you cant easily see or get to the controls
because the keyboards above are in the way? Or you have to set them
up so far apart that your top keyboard is in your face and hurts
your arms to hold them up that high and play for long periods?

I can hardly get to the controls on my bottom controller (Korg
M1) and I hate to seperate them more.

Well wouldnt it have been nice if keyboard manufacturers would
have talked to ME about this, because I have an ingenious solution:

What if the display and controls on keyboards could be modular? You
could just have the display and controls "pop out" of the keyboard
attached to small data cable. If you had multiple keyboard with a
modular design like this they could all be placed close together and
with each "display control module" on top of the whole rig.

Just some thoughts
