Subject:RE: Brian Auger Settings?

There is an article about Brian Auger in the recent issue of Keyboard. I
have not had a chance to read the whole article. It does say that he
does not use a Leslie most of the time and, instead, uses the C/V on the
B3. He feels the attack of the notes gets lost sometimes in the Leslie
effect.

Subject: [CWSG] Brian Auger Settings?

I don't have the Brian Auger DVD but I was wondering if someone who did
could
pass along some of his drawbar settings. This man is a living ,
breathing
master - one of the great greats on the Hammond. Brian plays with about
as much
fire and spirit as anybody. Another great fusion Hammond guy is Neil
Larsen who
I haven't heard enough of lately. Please pass on some of these
registrations..... I do know Brian uses second harmonic percussion but
don't know the other
settings. I also think Brian has been known to use effects from time to
time
on his amp. I heard Brian live at the Waterfront Blues Festival in
Portland
Ore. and it ranks as one of the best Hammond organ performances I ever
heard.
