this is so true. one man's hammond is another man's clone. it must be
hands-on before purchase. but what if you need a clone and your local music store has
nothing for you to try? you go for the words of others and pray you make a
right choice. I chose a VK8M after trying all the clones out, thank God
California has so many GC outlets, and music stores, but sometimes you get surprised.
Saw a Michele Branch concert on TV out of Hong Kong with Prince and the
Stones. The Branch band's keyboardist was wailing on a CX-3. Pretty good sounds he
was getting out of his clone. I kept looking for the Leslie but there was
none...even though demo-ing the latest CX-3 myself failed my expectations and
having owned one of the first gen CX-3s way back when, I was impressed with the
sound the Branch band player got out of his..
