There was another post somewhere (another list?) that suggested to me
the poster didn't have it configured right. My EMU B3 works fine with
a pedal--I don't have to hold it down or anything. And it sounds
pretty decent.

That said, however, I am actively seeking something else to replace
the EMU, and a while back I bought an MS 145 (an run the EMU direct
patches), so it's a non-issue to me right now.
