Hey Josiah
Even for those mp3's being in mono, they sound pretty decent to me...given a situation that someone may not be able to use any of these clones in stereo. Out of the samples I've heard, I like the XK3 and ELECTRO the best.

Thanks for your comments.
BTW all the organs were recorded in stereo and the MP3s are in stereo.
This first round was just meant to be a start.
I plan a couple of more Leslie sim comparisons.
And note that all of these Leslie sim comparisons are recorded direct. Of
course
whatever speaker system you use will color the final sound so your mileage
may
vary.
Then I will do Speakeasy comparisons with the Leslie sims.
I am very interested in the XK-3 with a Speakeasy because the XK-3 has
an effects loop that is BEFORE the internal Leslie!!!
However, I always play with a Rotating speaker.
So, I will move on to comparing clones through Rotating speakers, namely:
1. MS KBRM
2. MS Pro-145
3. Leslie 122
Then Rotating speakers plus a Speakeasy.
All the speakers will of course be recording with mics (two Studio Projects
C1s)
and not direct. These comparisons will of course show the clones at their
best
because it is the preamp and the rotating speakers that define the B3 sound
IMHO.
Then on the seventh day I will rest...
