How would it be fair to bypass the internal tube when the internal tube is part of what sets the XK3 apart from the competition??? It's not an external processing device.

With the help of your comments and suggestions, we are learning
more about our clones.
The new XK-3 MP3s incorporate the following:
1st there is a Blend parameter that controls the treble / bass
distortion of the OD.
By changing that parameter I was able to keep the bass from being so
wobbly, not
it is quite steady.
2nd zero OD on the XK-3 is essentially totally clean, you can push the
OD up to about
25 and stay in a warm but not distorted region so the new file has an OD
of 20 to get
closer to the bare preamp of the other clones.
3rd on the Overdrive file I hit the XK-3 harder, so I think that
everyone will be able to
hear the difference - OD parameter is 52.
I plan to address the key clicks on the B4 and Electo also, so keep the
suggestions coming...
