Amen. Looking at a preliminary print--the XK-3 doesn't have balanced outputs
either. The same stereo IC that powers the headphone output, also provides
signal for the L and R line outs. Pretty basic actually, the IC's outputs are
sent to a pair of 1/4" jacks through 1K resistors. No audio transformers, tip
and ring configurations, XLR connectors, etc. The 11-pin Leslie socket has a
separate output IC circuit, also unbalanced.
