Dave,
In addition to the Hammond 1122 kit, you could also get a Speakeasy preamp
with 122 option. This would provide you with the best tone to rave about
for years!

Subject: [CWSG] XK-3 and Leslie 122A?
Anyone know hard would it be to connect a Leslie 122A to a new XK-3?
The photo I took at NAMM of the back panel shows an 11-pin Leslie
connector (http://www.jardini.com/NAMM/XK3_6s.jpg ). My 122A
has a 6-pin connector on it (connected to my BV at the moment).
Is there a simple converter plug/socket arrangement that I could buy or
make, or do I need to design a special interface myself?
I see that Musician's Friend say they have XK-3's in stock for a penny
under $2.2K - are they available for less anywhere else? I don't see any
link on the HS website to buy one direct...what gives?
Cheers,
Dave F.
(seriously thinking of swooping for one......)
