up is to run the VK7 through a Speakeasy preamp pedal into either a Leslie
142 or a MS Pro 3T on top of a Motion Sound KP200s, or simply through the
Speakeasy pedal into the Motions Sound KP200s (depending on the gig). The
Speakeasy takes a lot of the shrillness off the top octave. I really like
the sound of the KP200s but others have also touted the Motion Sound KT80 (I
think that is the model number). The MS Pro 3T can make the shrillness worse
if not dialed in correctly.
I'm glad you brought up the fact that you have a KP200S in your setups some of the time. I just bought a KP100S and am really please with it. Neither of these has any rotating horns, but both have electronicly enhanced stereo. The only bad news of that is as with any stereo setup those ears in the sweet spot will get the best- although it certainly sounds Ok off axis.
I think one of the benefits of these speakers is that they depart from the one large 15 or 12" with a horn tweeter added and instead use a pair of 8" or 10" speakers for lows and a pair of 3.5" speakers for highs instead of the 1" drivers so popular - and possibbly more readily capable of being shrill. The 100 or 200 and probably also the 80 can do a nice job on either Ep or acoustic piano as well as organ.
