I don't and never did own a controller precisely because it would mean the
same keyboard for every sound. If I'm playing piano, I sure don't want it to
feel like a Hammond; I want weighted action for that. And if I'm playing organ I
don't want piano action. Hey, different strokes, and that's fine. But I can
easily understand why controllers didn't become more popular.
