Re the recent postings about Glass Hammer, Focus et al... I'm THRILLED
that there are now more of us here in the group willing to discuss progressive
rock, that mighty bastion of Hammond beauty! I love jazz organ, Jimmy Smith,
Jack McDuff and the lot, but I'm equally moved and influenced in my playing by
progressive rock; always have been.
As I write I'm listening to "Shadowlands", the new Glass Hammer CD. It
came tonight, direct from the GH website, $15 + $2 s&h (US). The jury's still out
re the entire disc, but as far as I've gotten I've heard a lot that I like.
MUCH great Hammond, Moog, Mellotron... and some fantastic pipe organ!
Thanks again for the Focus DVD info - I'm going to try to find it at one
of the sites. Best - Adam
