Forget that. First bubble wrap it yourself with the large bubble bubblewrap. If you get a bubblewrap wide enough to cover the CX3 left to right, then wrap it over and under. I doubt you can find wrap that wide. In the event you dont, take what you can find and wrap the keyboard end over end (with the drawbars pushed in) and the bubble side in (next to the keyboard and drawbars). This will keep your drawbars closed and will protect the keyboard just fine. Then wrap it again the other way, over and under the keyboard.

But honestly, if you don't have the original box, just take the keyboard as is to THE UPS STORE and let them do it. They're going to charge you almost the same whether you've wrapped the keyboard or not (you might save $5 wrapping it yourself, but you'll use $10 worth of bubble wrap). When I ship keyboards, even when I have the original packing materials, I take them to the UPS Store and pay them to wrap it. This way, in the event of damage (which does happen from time to time) they have absolutely NO EXCUSE not to ante up.

They damaged a Hohner Clavinet E7 that I shipped through them and insured for $1300, and they bashed it pretty good. Since they packed and shipped it, they sent an adjustor out who cut a check on the spot. It's worth the peace of mind, and they usually will do a good job of it.

Does anyone have experience with the size dimensions and weight to
correctly set up the eBay Shipping Calculator?
