Well, the red actually looks quite attractive and not cheesy at all, unlike the Waldorf synth stuff in Yellow and Orange. And since the Motif is in a metallic gold finish, and the Triton/Trinitys are in a silver metallic finish, with the new Triton to be in a super Blue metallic finish, the Nord seems to be not that singular with its "identifying colors". The red woodgrain actually looks quite classy.
