Subject:Re: Ray Charles has died...age 73 :-(

Hi John, Dan the 'bone player from my band used to be in Ray's band. He told me he was pretty sick and would most likely pass soon. He told us some good stories about Ray Charles, one was how he loved to play chess (braille board) and when he thought any of his band guy chess opponents were possibly cheating Ray would go over and turn off the lights and say "OK your move"! A sad day indeed.
