There is some way to set it up the way you're desiring (only changing drawbar registrations without affecting percussion and C/V). In fact, I've done it....but it was a total mistake and it caused me an evening of frustration as I'm trying to save presets the way I'd like them instead of the way YOU apparently like them. Now how did I do it? I wish I could tell you....I was "saving" things on the fly, and had forgotten the correct procedure. Now my last bank has a set of sounds that have to have the percussion and C/V toggled manually. If the percussion is off on say preset C#, it will stay off even if I toggle another preset, say D. If I leave the percussion ON during preset D, and then toggle preset C# again, the percussion stays on. It was making me nuts, and when I checked the manual when I got home, I realized I had fouled up the "write" procedure.
The Electro does not have this feature you speak of. When you toggle a new preset, all new settings come up that were engaged before writing that preset.
Oh well....
