It's not clear from your description how you have everything hooked up, but
it sounds like you're trying to get the CX3 to produce the B4's sound--it
definitely doesn't work that way.

You need a sound card in your PC to generate sound with the B4 software.
You can use the CX3 as a MIDI controller by connecting its MIDI out to the
computer's MIDI in--then the computer generates the sound when you play the
CX3's keys. (Note: I'm assuming the CX3 is the currently-available model
with MIDI). The speakers should be connected to the sound card's speaker
output.

I use a Roland A70 as my MIDI controller. I also have a Doepfer Pocket
Fader unit to control the B4's drawbars.
