Subject:Voce Web Site, Spin II

Hi Van,

I think you may have missed the earlier post about SPIN II not being in the
Key5 due to cost reasons.

As for the web site, I finally have some time to clean it up. Your comments
are welcome and encouraged.

Thanx,

/Dave

Hi Dave.
Let me add my two cents to the "what's with the Voce website?"
thread. There's a list of "front panel" controls for the Key5
(chorus, vibrato, percussion, etc.) that mysteriously don't appear in
the photo. But there is a clearly visable pair of typical
pitch/modulation wheels in the photo that are not mentioned in the
data sheet.

???????????????????????

And I'm baffled as to why the Spin II is not built into the Key5. A
portable organ for gigging musicians who value simplicity, and
generally want to keep down the number of gizmos, cables and
wallwarts, and may not have room, money, transporting ability, etc.
for a Leslie or Pro-145. I would think the Leslie sim would be there
to help the Key5 compete with the other clones that have useful,
favorably reviewed Leslie sims.
Adding to the irony, the Spin II is built in to the chuch market-
aimed Diversi series. I would expect a church to have the room for a
Leslie or equivalent, and portability is not an issue, and if they
can afford a Diversi, I would think they could pop for a new or used
Leslie, too.
It's just possible I'm missing a point here, but this has been
bugging me.
