Hi Bill...
Any simple "single footswitch" will do the job... it
replaces the use of the "fast" button in the "rotary"
section on the left of the board, it toggles from chorale
to tremolo and viceversa. Just plug your single footswitch
to "assignable pedal/sw" 1 or 2 on the back of the organ,
and assign it to control the "fast" button via menu.
This setting is not "global", ie, if you have a patch with this
setting and you change to a patch that does not have it,
the footswitch won't control the rotary fast button unless
you assign it. Also, if the footswitch input (1 or 2) you are
trying to use has a "global" setting assigned (ie, program
change) it will take priority over a program setting, and won't
work, you should check your global settings first:
"ProgUpCtrl" and "ProgDownCtrl" in global edit mode
should be set to off (unless you want to change programs
with your footswitch!!)
To assign rotary fast control in a patch, just go to "edit"
mode, press preset button 7 ("controller" group), and
navigate with the arrow buttons to "RtryFastCtrl" option,
then you can select Pedal/SW1 or Pedal/SW2. There is
an option of assign it "momentary" (while you press the pedal),
or "toggle", I don't rememeber the options now!! (i don't have
the organ now!!) Just navigate through those options, trial
and error, you'll get it!!
Ok, let me know if it works for you, take care...
