I am also looking at a three-tier standtastic to replace my well-worn trusty QL-Z.

Is anyone using the three-tier standtastic? how solidly are they built, and can they take a fair amount of banging around? (i.e. no prodtruding plastic pieces to get snapped, etc). They claim to be rated 100lbs/tier, so I'm hoping that throwing my Kurz k2500 on it should be OK.
