Yes the room for pedals is oh so important. I have 3 and it is always a problem. Thanks for the Quiklock Link.

Speaking of the Quik-Lok Z stands, how do they knock down, and how easy are
they to transport? I'm always looking for a way to simplify. What attracts me
to the Z stands is the room underneath. With a Speakeasy pedal, volume pedal,
and piano sustain pedal it's packed under my Ultimate x-stand. Forget about a
wah, which I would like to have there also. But I'm the kind of guy who doesn't
like having to remove and then reattach the second tiers on the x-stand when
moving, so I'm very interested to hear from anyone who's actually using them
what we're looking at in terms of number of pieces, ease of setup, space
requirements during transport, etc. FWIW I'd probably be getting a 2-tier Z-726 or
Z-727. http://quiklok.com/300x300/sku_Z_726_wKybds.jpg. Thanks for any info!
