With respect to outcome, I'd suggest that some members are restricted in
their posting. Yahoo Groups makes this easy to do, where a moderator must
approve every post. I've started a few groups and found this to be very
useful.
Yes, it's more work than just booting someone, but I think it helps to focus
on the goal - changing one's behaviour.
