If you want to plunk out some more dough the Roland VR-760 through a Speakeasy sounds pretty great. I am sticking to the "one keyboard does all" program and the V works for me. Real drawbars, splits, layers, bunch of Roland synth sounds with the SRX-7 card.. Knobs to twist on the fly and Roland reliability. The Electro is an aquired taste I believe. The more you use it the better it gets. It has limitations and quirks but a very musical keyboard. The V just suited my gig better.

Subject: [CWSG] Electro?

Ok fellow clone wheelers. I need some advice.

My rig: CX3, Yamaha Motif es8, Motion sound kbr3d,(organ goes
through a speakeasy)

Question?
I'm looking for a keyboard I could use for much smaller gigs. I
tried out my neighbors electro 2 rack and I really couldn't get into
it. I've heard great things about it and I actually saw a friend
play one live and I thought it sounded great but when I got this
thing home and checked it out, I didn't like the sound at all.

Is there anyone with me on this?

Sorry about this all of you electro owners.
