Subject:Re: Key5 Availability

I couldn't answer that question having never seen or played a Key5. But its chassis is built from plastic, no? (Not that I think the furniture is worth another $10k, but who knows what else the difference is?) I've seen and played the new B and the Porta B, and they are very cool. Just not cool enough for ME to spend $15k. Now for all I know Voce should charge more for their dual manual, 4sets of drawbars, beefed up percussion (so far it all sounds great to me!) clone. (It IS a clone, price notwithstanding.) But until I see or play one, how would I know? I think this conversation has heated up some folks unnecessarily. The current state of MI economics does suck, but what are you gonna do? I personally hope I get the chance to get my hands on one.

So....David, how IS the C/V on the Key 5?

Okay, now hold on a second. The Key5 costs about $4,000? That is not
overpriced, compared to $20,000 for a new B. How much does the Diversi cost?
It uses Voce technology, including having a built in Spin II. Is it cheaper
than a H/S new B?
