Subject:Key5 Availability

I'm sorry... I think I need to explain the reality of the music retail
business. The Key5 will probably never be stocked in music stores for the
same reason the XB-5 wasn't stocked and the new Porta-B won't be stocked.
Few dealers will tie-up that much floor space and cash for such a
specialized product. The big picture is that the clone market is a subset
of a tiny niche called the keyboard market. That's right... We're all part
of a niche of a niche. The days of walking into a music store to hear an
instrument are woefully gone. I guess the only solution is to order an
instrument and try it at home with a money back guaranty like the one
Sweetwater offers.

have read Dave's post: the Key5 has been available for quite some time. No

Obviously no one has seen one personally outside the NAMM show to play it or
