Well, my ears certainly confirm this. I have played the New B3, the
Portable B3, and the XK3.. And it is definitely different. I t was when
I played it at NAMM, and it is now. Is it bad? No. Just different. more
like an A100.. Just wish I could have a vibrato depth control to make it
shimmer more.. It reminds me of the V1 software on the CX3. Not a bad
comparison.
All this being said, it is better than the CX3's, Nord, and all the
other clones I have heard.

Subject: [CWSG] XK3 CV
Think i read in a post somewhere that the XK3 CV is not quite on the
money and it was suggested that the CV on the XK3 is not the same as
that used on the new B3/B3p. Can anyone confirm this? Can't
understand why H/S would do this, surely from a manufacturing costs
perspective this wouldnt make sense? Yeh, i know there's got to be
differences between the XK3 and the B3 in order to tempt us to pay
the extra bucks, but producing 2 slightly different CV 'engines'
seems an unlikely choice of differential ?
