This seems strange indeed. You say you've confirmed that you are saving Global
correctly by changing and saving some other parameters, right? When you are in
Global and then hit the ENTER key you must again press Global to save Global
settings - at first it goes into regular Sound saving mode...

Right?

And you've confirmed that you can manually change and get the right triggering at
first? You're sure your keyboard is properly triggering at the bottom of the key?

If you can confirm all this then I'll have to check with Korg Inc. in Japan - I've never
seen this before...
