Not sure what you mean there.

I, too, wasn't particularly knocked out by too many
of the named presets (I mean..famous names). The
generic Rock settings were quite good though. I don't
think they probably spent hours tweaking the sounds to
be exactly like the record like, say, a Yamaha sound
programmer does when they voice things for something
like the Motif (who got a killer "Richard Tee" Rhodes
sound for the Motif...but that's a post for another
board).
This has never bothered me about any of my clones,
though, because I never use any of the stock presets.
Ever. I tweak from the word go as I imagine most folks
do. Anyone who goes as far as buying a clone is
probably a B-3 guy anyway and is going to adjust to
taste. Anyone else is usually happy with the "Purple
Spin" patch on their XP-80!

on!>>
Probably because gospel settings are a tad more
generic. I mean...there aren't as many legendary
gospel recordings as there are rock and jazz organ
recordings. 808808008 is pretty standard fare. The
organ sound on "Born To Be Wild" is not.

Probably because they don't need to. Latches would be
a needless addition, I'd say.
Anyway, you asked for opinions. Those are mine!
