lol....thanks Mike!
Yeah, the black keys do work as presets, like on a Hammond not made by Suzuki! Let's say you set all of bank one with different presets, but all using the 888800008 registration. You could have the slightly dirty Booker T organ, the Jack McDuff organ, the Jimmy Smith organ, the insanely in need of maintenance Greg Rolie organ, the even more insane grimy Jon Lord organ, the wound up as high as he can get it Seth Justman organ, the sweet Gregg Allman organ, the spitting fire Emerson organ, the Tony organ, the MikeW Voce V5 sound, and still have your B and Bflat to play with too!!!!!! All on the same registration, but all those different organs!
What else they got right: The Chorus/Vibrato unit is happening! The dual set of drawbars is also correct. (Even their location, which struck me as a little weird at first, but actually turned out to be more well thought out than I had first appreciated.) The built-in effects are nice for those who like reverb or delay (and I've actually incorporated a little of that!); the keyboard feels gorgeous, and darned fun to play. The tube is a nice little add-on for those who don't have a Speakeasy (and for those of us who do, it's just a wee bit more grind without having to reach behind us). The percussion is great (nice n thunky), and the keyclick makes me smile!
The expression pedal feels great, works correctly, and yet you can switch to another pedal with one button push and use your FC7 or EV5 or whatever else you have (or keep as a spare like I do). It looks nice, feels nice, sounds great, and has its own personality, just like most of the modern clones do. (In this regard, all us modern clone owners are extremely lucky: the Cx3, V-series of organs, Voce, Electro and Xk3 owners all own organs that allow us to sound like the individuals we are...unlike the M1 or the Dx7 of yesteryear.) And it's built like a tank.

Don't worry Toney. I still like you and as a fellow b3 player you are and
everbody else in this group is entitle to their opinion. I would like to hear
your comments about the XK3 . What did suzuki do right? Does the black keys
(presets) actually work? I would like to know. MikeW.
