I'm not bashing anything. I simply say that it is
just another clone, with flaws, strong and weak points
just as any others.

I didn't say "it'll never be a tube". What I said,
more precisely, is that to my ears, IN SPITE of having
a built in preamp with real tubes that "glow" for the
player to watch to, I still find the emulated-tube
overdrive on the electro to be far more convincing and
ear pleasing. Just as I think that the Xk3 has a
better C/V wich just sounds way better than the
others. Just as I think that the Xk3 leslie sounds
lame. Now, you may agree or not with that. Hey, it's
just an opinion. It's just up to you what you like or
what you don't. But as free as you're to express your
love affair with your clone, ditto I'm to speak up my
opinions on things wich I don't like from the way they
SOUND (I'm not saying PLAY, because as you've already
gotten tired of saying, I've never played one). Is
that a problem to you?. Actually, I think if I was so
sure and confident on my opinion about something, not
only it wouldn't bother me someone diverting from it,
I'd rather wouldn't care at all!. I wouldn't be
uptight nor frantic about it. I'd just simply think or
say "well, that's your opinion and mine is different".

I'm sorry pal, but you're not the only one who can
hear sounds here. I have two ears for my own
enjoyment, as well as you do I guess. And along the
years they too have been refined and trained to music
hearing.
Should I own one to be entitled to talk about it? Is
that what you're suggesting?

That's what you cannot seem to dig quite well here.
Actually, my opinion doesn't have nothing to do with
you owning one. I don't care at all. Actually I don't
know who you are, besides a fellow list member, and
didn't know you owned one until you reacted to my
criticism and stepped up as a proud owner taking
illegitimate offense for my words. I'm not critisizing
you, and that's just the way you seem to have taken
this whole affair.

I don't see how can be insulting to state you find an
instrument not to be of your liking.
You like it best. You will stick to it forever. Fine.
Just excuse me if I don't share your enthusiasm here.
Some people can't stand cheese, and I think it'd be
reasonable if I got mad at them just because I love
it. Don't make sense to me. Preferrences and likings
are just subjective. That's the way they're ment and
bound to be and they tend to incredible diversity. You
might be uncomfortable with that tought, but hey,
that's just the way it is.

Well, I expected to hear opinions and discussions on
clones. At least, that's what the charter said this
list was about when I joined in. Or is this the
"ownership pride" list instead?. If so, please my
apologies to all memebers. I musta gotten here by
mistake. It's about clones I wanted to talk. I don't
care about to discuss about pride.
