I think, you refer to a post from jake92028, telling something about
discontinued evb3 PC versions. I'm not sure, how the online-stores
handled that in detail, because the XS-codes are always cross-platform.

What can have happened, that newer evb3 packages have been equipped
with a CD-rom containing only the Mac-version of Logic. Well, you don't
need the CD, just the code. But the stores might tell you something
different.
