Hi Bob and crew,

I wrote yesterday about Hammond L-100 for GigaStudio , actually a
Tascam division at www.nemesysmusic.com

What I forgot to tell is that there is an attached doc at the site of the
loop's producer
(biggagiggas.com) with details about how-to "Sune L-100" loop was recorded.

Most interesting IMO was that the Hammond L-100 had an advanced
mod to get what it is known like "foldback " feature usually found in
B3 , not in any standard Hammond L-100.

A Leslie 122 was used (with Leslie breake) so finally a Leslie sim (some of
them included
in GigaStudio)or "the real thing" would be needed for better Doppler
effect.

About sampling techniques or sound quality I am like you, waiting
for a generous soul putting here some NTQ (near tutorial quality )
message :) as usually found, e.g. goff747.

Subject: Nemesys Gigasampler B3 sounds

I was checking out a studio today that we may use to record my group's
next CD. We talked about bringing in the B3 vs. using a clone through a
Leslie. He mentioned he had something called Nemesys Gigasampler and
felt it had killer B3 sounds. Time did not permit me the opportunity of
hearing any of these samples. Is anyone familiar with this product and
what is your opinion? I would still run the B3 samples through a
Speakeasy and into a 122.
