Subject:RE: viscount db-5 dual manual clone
Well, I'm looking to purchase a clone for a (hopefully - tryout
tomorrow) upcoming tour, and Jim Robinson, my keyboard guy at Norman
Music Center, told me he's got a couple of the single-manual DB3's on
order, and one will be set up in the showroom. He's got a DB5 and has
been raving like crazy about it. He knows what's what with his organ
sounds, and he told me that with a Leslie he feels no need at all to
bring a real console to gigs anymore. At that price I'm tempted to go
dual-manual.
Anyway, the DB3's should be in the showroom soon, if any of you are
anywhere near Oklahoma and want to play one.
