StudioLogic Introduces VMK-88 MIDI Controller
New at the Winter NAMM show was StudioLogic's VMK-88
(Virtual Music Controller) MIDI keyboard controller.
The VMK-88 features semi-weighted action with aftertouch, and
fully programmable knobs, buttons, sliders and pedals, as well
as an LCD display, pitch wheel, and a data entry wheel. Lighter,
at only 14-pounds, and smaller than any of its 88-note
predecessor sister keyboard controllers, the VMK-88's small foot
print is perfect for even the most cramped project studio, yet still
features FATAR's semi-weighted, mechanical keyboard action.

Additional operational features include 8 x 2 programmable
knobs, 8 x 2 programmable buttons, 9 x 3 programmable
SLIDERS, 4 programmable pedal inputs, and sequencer
controls. The VMK-88 also includes a sustain pedal, an AC
adapter, and a MIDI-to-USB converter. The US suggested list
price of the VMK-88 is $799.95.
