"Yes, But".. if it's right behind you, up at ear level, doesn't the
horn just drill your ears?? Or if the horn is above your (sitting)
keyboard position, the bass rotor would smack you/me in the back of
the head and drown out everything else.

I DO have a Quiklok stand I could recycle for this, come to think.
It'd look better than a milk crate, that's for sure.
