the XK3 is not sample based.

Let me clarify my last statement, I had a chance to speak with one of the
Japanese engineers about VASEIII. He patiently explained in his broken
English that VASEIII incorporates ³feesiacur moderring² of digital samples.
I would guess it¹s a spin off of the General Music proprietary approach.
