I wanted to follow up after receiving this case and using it on a
gig. I am very pleased with the case. Yeah, you get what you pay for
and I didn't expect it to rival a $400 case, but for the money, it is
well built and strong enough to protect my XK2 in my situation, which
is carrying it to my car, into the gig, and back. Much better than
the soft bag I had and it is custom made for the XK2 so it fits
perfectly. It is actually well made as everything is square and well
applied. I don't worry about the latches at all, but I do worry a
little about the handle which is only riveted to the panel and not
reinforced. But I keep that in mind when carrying and don't yank it
or abuse it. All in all, I would recommend this to the average gig
musician like me. It does provide excellent protection, looks cool,
and I pocket $300.
