Subject:Re: Namm and Hammond?
I'm not sure I get it...OK, the drawbars on the CX3 are
positioned "perfectly" and it looks like the XK3 drawbars are less
than 5 inches to the right, somehow making it a terrible design...?
Looks like they can be tweaked easily with either hand...I mean,
they're right there. Looking at the comparison photo:
http://pow-wowcentral.com/COMPARO.jpg
the 2 bass pedal drawbars are in the same location as on the B3, but
with one set of drawbars on each side instead of two. The further to
the left the drawbars are, the more difficult they are to use with
you right hand. And if you have an "L" shaped setup, with piano on
the right", you don't have to reach as far back. As for the display,
the only time I look at it is while initially setting up patches, not
while playing. Looks like a pretty good design to me...I certainly
can't say it's bad.

Now the H/Z people said that Joey is "in" on the design of the XK3.
If that's really the case,,,, Then what explains all this bad design?
