Has anyone in the group tried running the output of a Clone thru an
external chorus rather than using the built-in variety?
Reason I ask: I have a Hammond Model A, which has no Chorus/Vibrato, and
I was thinking of putting a chorus effect between it and my Leslie. What
do y'all think?
It also occurred to me that some of you have complained about the quality
of the Chorus/Vibrato in some of the Clones, and I thought an external
chorus might solve the problem.
Any thoughts or experiences with this?

i used to run my 1st gen CX-3 thru a boss Ce-1 stereo chorus pedal. it would
be a matter of which chorus unit and HOW YOU'D HOOK IT UP to your A100. The
older models were not set up for interconnection of other devices (read-LINE
OUT). You'd have to have some genius figure out how to tap the line out from the
preamp and split you a signal that won't cower and do weird things to the
sound of your present amplification system if you were to add an external chorus
device like a TC electronics processor or the like. I'm sure someone in this
group has an idea of what it'd take on a more technical side. as i mentioned,
you'd have to find a chorus device that would enhance the sound in the first
place that is hammond-like and not just any ol' chorus device..
