have you tried a rock-n-soc? they come in a drum throne style and also with a
back rest. Paul Schaffer (Letterman) uses the one with a back rest. I have
two drum throne versions and use them for drums and keyboard playing. folds, has
pneumatic adjustment and is comfortable and steady as a rock.
