Oh Yeah! It's pretty scary when it happens! It WAS a generator because we were set up on a flatbed in the middle of the racetrack. This was like 1977. Wish I still had that C/V. We had roadies at the time. They refused to ever move it again. No dollies, just muscle. It had a different or extra chorus sound I believe. C-2's and C/V's are different in this respect? Help me Cloners. About a 1949 model. Really sounded thick but no percussion of course.

If you went flat, it wasnt the voltage, it was the cycles...you were on a huge generator, but it wasn't calibrated. I found out the hard way in the middle of a SONG!!!! I thought my guitarist had lost his mind during a solo, went sharp...and stayed there. Then I thought the bassist had caught it (this thing is CONTAGIOUS?). When I grabbed a chord on my A90, that's when the culprit was discovered: My Hammond. Now, there's a cycle regulator in both my Hammonds.
